Character Swapper + Skin Swapper

NOTE: The Skin Swapper only works with skins, the Character Swapper can swap skins and characters. Some characters/skins will not work even if they can be swapped because the game is not able to load some swapped files. For advanced mods the best option is Spine Pro.

Character Swapper usage:

  1. Double-click on X_MAINBATFILE.bat.
  2. Input the character name you want to be swapped, for example Moran. Hit Enter.
  3. Input the character/skin number (00 is default character, 01/02/03/04/05 are the different skins), for example 00. Hit Enter.
  4. Input the character name you want to use for the swap, for example Rouge. Hit Enter.
  5. Input the character/skin number, e.g. 00. Hit Enter.
  6. The swap process will start — just wait. When complete the terminal window will close automatically.
  7. If everything worked you will see the swapped files in the folder Repacked.
  8. Move those files from Repacked to your NMM mods folder.
  9. Apply the mods with NMM.

Skin Swapper usage:

When you launch this tool running X_MAINBATFILE.bat you have two versions: the GUI version and the terminal/CMD version.

GUI version: Select the character on the left, the skin on the right, click START SWAP, then OPEN OUTPUT FOLDER when done.

Terminal version: Same input method as Character Swapper, but remember Skin Swapper only works with skins (e.g., Moran 00 → Moran 01).

How to swap modded skins with the Character Swapper:

  1. Run 0_CREATE_NAU_SHORTCUT.exe to create NAU shortcut if you don't have it yet.
  2. Run A__GET_RAW_FILES.bat to download the raw files for both default character and the character skin. You need to input the character name and skin number just like if it's a non-modded swap first. For my example I'm swapping a Moran nude skin mod over the raw default Moran, so I input "Moran" + "00" and "Moran" + "01" just like a normal skin swap.
  3. Go to the folderDefaultBundle → Standing.
  4. Copy the filename of the file in that folder.
  5. Rename your mod using the filename you copied. If your Moran nude skin mod is c281_01_standing_Catalyzer_MoranNudeSkin and the filename you copied is something like e4cedec9a04212b32cb34c764a196b61, you need to rename your mod to e4cedec9a04212b32cb34c764a196b61.
  6. Move your renamed mod to that folder Standing and replace the raw file with your renamed mod.
  7. Run 0_Autorun_swaps.exe and wait.
  8. When the swap is done go to the folder Repacked and move the file to your NMM mods folder.
  9. Apply the mod with NMM. Done.
  10. Repeat the same steps for Aim and Cover as well if the modded skin includes Aim and Cover.
